2022 is almost upon us. As we look forward to the opportunities that the new year brings, the team at Showbest wanted to share some of our favorite case studies published this year.
From dispensary projects, high-end restaurant interiors to airport retail, here’s a round-up of some of our work in 2021.
Jamestown Settlement Museum Gift Store (Retail)
The journey for this massive project started back in 2018 where we were selected by the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation from among many other candidates to overhaul the shopping experience of the Jamestown Settlement Museum Official Gift Store.
Over 18 months, the Showbest team worked hand in hand with their designated design company, Charles Sparks and Company, to design, manufacture and execute custom elements and fixtures befitting the brand experience our client wanted to achieve.
Even amidst a global pandemic, we were able to deliver the project on time to the client’s full satisfaction, allowing the gift shop to open its doors in 2021.
The Apothecarium Dispensary (Cannabis Dispensary)
Having worked with many dispensaries in the past, this project with The Apothecarium, an award-winning dispensary, was one that truly stood out.
The Apothecarium features a beautifully designed interior outfitted with clean and minimalist fixtures. To achieve this unique design, the Showbest team worked closely with both the architect and designers of Urban Chalet to fabricate a collection of custom-designed millwork, metal, and stone dispensary display fixtures.
The Capital Burger (Restaurant)
Showbest was approached by Darden Restaurants, one of the largest high-end restaurant groups worldwide, to help furnish their first location for a new brand – The Capital Burger.
There were high expectations to create complementary millwork and fixtures. From feathered ceiling elements to custom metal fixtures, we worked to create pieces that not only worked well with the historic space they had selected, but also created their ideal atmosphere.
This first project went smoothly, and after completion, we began a great partnership working with Darden Restaurants for several other locations.
No Boundaries (Airport Retail)
No Boundaries is an outdoors-focused airport retail store introduced by Paradies Lagardère. Showbest was engaged by Paradies to create display fixtures and design elements, including choosing sustainable and theme-appropriate materials.
The Showbest team managed to swiftly get the detailed shop drawings confirmed and approved, expedite the manufacturing of custom millwork, and displays, as well as complete installation on time in the airport’s challenging and restrictive environment in just 6-8 weeks.
