As a premier retail fixture manufacturer and installer, Showbest was approached by 3 North, the building’s architect, to fabricate and build the complete suite of fixtures for a museum redesign. Working directly with 3 North and the museum, the project entailed building the entire museum around the remains of Tredegar, an iron works for the Civil War. Showbest utilized high-quality materials such as white oak, black powder-coated steel, and white acrylic to complement the design of 3 North and create fixtures that fit seamlessly into the museum’s aesthetic.
To meet the museum’s needs, Showbest also refurbished several existing tables with under table storage that the museum requested to utilize. In addition, the project allowed Showbest to utilize some of the museum’s existing showcases from the previous gift shop. However, everything else created was new, including flag holder displays, wall cases with glass shelves, and standalone showcases for books and other gifts.
