Showbest was selected by the Jamestown Yorktown Foundation in 2018 to enhance the shopping experience at their gift store located inside the Jamestown Settlement Museum. Along with the design company, Charles Sparks and Company, we took on this 18 month project requiring detailed design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation work, all overseen by a dedicated project manager. Every fixture was custom designed, created from specialty metal, high end laminates, solid surfaces, and UL approved specialty lighting. A tree imported from Canada was even utilized within the design. The result of this project is a custom, one of a kind retail experience. We worked seamlessly with Charles Sparks and Company to deliver the project on time, within budget, and without any quality control issues. The high level of communication and professionalism between the client, designer and Showbest enabled pitfalls to be avoided, even in the midst of a global pandemic. The gift store opened on time in 2021 and has received high remarks from the client and their customers. It is a positive example of what can be achieved when we are working in partnership with our clients to transition their vision to reality.
